Really nice state park. Only downside is with the exception of a modern bathroom at the entrance to loop C, all the rest of the loops have primitive toilets. Nice lake for kayaking. Several hiking trails.
Great local state park! Clean and beautiful. There's plenty of campsites, cookout sites, and trails. There is also horseback riding areas and a beach! Highly recommend.
This is a wonderful place to visit. It has trails galore, lots of great scenery, a beach, a fishing hole, and lots of camping areas. It also has a great group of people who take care of the trails so people don't get lost.
Great quiet and secluded campground. Restrooms (latrines) are kept very clean. Park is is a beautiful forest. Plenty of trails to do. The park is also a horse campground so my son enjoyed seeing the horses and watching the people ride.
Went to a memorial service sponsored by a local hospice team&it was heart-warming despite pouring rain. Singing &poems, tributes were beautiful. Really nice event.
This is is usually not crowded!
